Rules & Offenses

1. Age requirement

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this site. Anyone found to be under 18 receives an immediate account and IP ban. No appeal.

2. Illegal content

CSAM or other severe illegal activity results in a permanent IP ban and a strict redirect telling the visitor to contact their local FBI field office. No appeal — not even mod mail or a support email reach this category, by design.

3. Doxxing / sharing private information

Sharing someone's private information results in a ban. Exception: police reports and public court records are allowed, but all physical addresses must be redacted first. No appeal.

4. Copyright infringement

Sharing content you don't hold the rights to results in an account ban and an IP ban, issued together through our DMCA process. Unlike the categories above, this one keeps a normal appeal path — copyright disputes are a civil matter, not the same severity tier as illegal content or doxxing.

5. Vote manipulation / point farming

Using scripts or automation to farm votes or XP results in an immediate account and IP ban. This is enforced automatically: self-voting is blocked outright, voting/posting/commenting are rate-limited, and repeated violations in a short window trigger the ban without a person needing to intervene.

6. Streamer raids

Organizing or participating in a raid against a streamer — directing this community's users to flood someone's chat, stream, or channel, whether to harass them or otherwise disrupt their broadcast — is not allowed, on or off this site. This is separate from (and in addition to) the existing rule against encouraging or glorifying off-site attacks against streamers generally.

7. Ban evasion

Creating a new account to get around an existing ban is not allowed. If your IP itself was banned, registering a new account from it is already blocked automatically. If only your account was banned, a new account registered from the same IP is flagged for staff to review — not auto-banned outright, since the same IP can genuinely belong to different people (shared networks, offices, etc.) — but it will be looked into.

8. Subreddit-specific rules

Individual communities can set their own additional rules beyond the site-wide ones here. Breaking a community's own rules results in a ban from that community specifically, issued by that community's mod — it doesn't affect your standing anywhere else on the site. Every community keeps an open log of its own bans and removals.
